The Bruce Gordon
Fan Club!
Besides his achievements with Walt
Disney Imagineering, it's some of Bruce's more unique personal
traits and interests that many find very appealing. Imagineers
with Disney have a reputation of being odd, and sometimes very
eccentric. And being with Disney for so long, Bruce has to be one
of the most interesting characters who has ever worked in
Glendale.
Fun Facts about Bruce Gordon:
1 - Did you know that Bruce likes to write?
Actually Bruce has even written a few books! One book he wrote
with fellow Imagineer David Mumford is a historical look at
Disneyland through the many postcards issued at the park in its
40 year existence, and in fact it is considered the definitive
source for information on Disneyland history!
2 - Did you know that Bruce likes the movie Back to the Future?
In fact Bruce Gordon loved the movie so much, that along with
some other Imagineers, he tracked down and reported most of the
filming locations for the entire movie! And besides writing a
filming location guide, Bruce also wrote several fan-fic stories
about the character of Marty McFly!

3 - Did you know Bruce Gordon collects dirt?
Bruce tries his best to collect dirt samples from various Disney
sites including Walt's former home. And when he was younger, he
actually used a milk carton to 'steal' some water from the Jungle
Cruise to use in a model he built in his parents garage!
4 - Did you know that Bruce also likes to collect Packaging from
McDonald's resturants?
We don't exactly know if Bruce likes to frequent McDonald's resturants or just collect the packaging. Yet when asked to comment on a certain image created regarding the McDonald's Fry Cart at Disneyland, Bruce was said to not understand the animosity toward such a fry cart.
